Perfect gift for Mother’s Day – CD: Cugine – Songs to Love

Debut CD recording by Perth Operatic singers, Penny Shaw and Tamsyn Stock-Stafford called Cugine. Tamsyn and Penny met when they were children and Tamsyn’s Mother married Penny’s Uncle. By strange co-incidence Penny and Tamsyn both became professional opera singers and both have ended up living in Perth! 

Penny and Tamsyn have been performing together since Penny moved to Australia from the UK eight years ago with the West Australian Opera; as part of His Majesty’ Theatre Lunchtime Concert Series; Sunday at Subi; numerous corporate events and most recently they appeared as Susanna and The Countess in Yellow Glass Theatre’s acclaimed production The Marriage of Figaro. 

We hope that you enjoy listening to the CD as much as we enjoy singing together. Penny and Tamsyn were delighted to work with the talented Bradley Gilchrist on piano and Courtney Pitman to join them for a selection of trios. Tamsyn, Courtney and Penny make up the a cappella vocal group Heaven and are available for bookings.
